The Los Angeles Conservancy is a nonprofit membership organization, currently celebrating its 40th anniversary, that works through education and advocacy to recognize, preserve, and revitalize the historic architectural and cultural resources of Los Angeles County. One service provided is informative docent-led architectural walking tours in downtown LA, see: https://www.laconservancy.org/tours.  

Historic Downtown
The Historic Downtown tour provides a great overview of the historical and cultural landmarks of downtown Los Angeles, from the eighteenth century to the present, including the Central Library, the U.S. Bank Tower, the Bradbury Building and a ride aboard the historic funicular Angels Flight (ticket included, 24-hour notice needed for wheelchair access to the train).

Tour starts in Pershing Square (if closed, meet at the corner of 6th & Olive Streets)
